Addons for WotLK 3.3.5: a practical starter set
A good addon setup removes busywork without playing the game for you.
Must-have
- Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) — boss timers and warnings. Do not enter a raid without it.
- WeakAuras — procs, dots and cooldowns. Start from a class preset, then trim it.
- Bartender4 — action bars and keybinds the way you like them.
- Omen — threat meter: tank keeps aggro, damage dealers keep their lives.
For PvE
- Details! or Skada — damage and healing breakdown to find weak spots in your rotation.
- AtlasLoot — boss loot tables and drop chances.
- Grid2 or VuhDo — compact raid frames for healers.
For PvP
- Gladius — arena frames with class, health and cast bars.
- OmniBar — track enemy cooldowns and interrupts.
- InterruptBar — know when your opponent's kick is available again.
Levelling and world
- Questie — quest objectives and routes on the map.
- GatherMate2 — remember herb, ore and chest nodes.
- Auctioneer — understand prices before you sell.
